I have always found guinea fowls to be quite comical and photograph them a lot. This one was so busy feeding it hadn’t realised the rest of the flock had moved off and was on the other side of the waterhole already. It looked up and with a dash of urgency it rushed to join its flock and I photographed it with the still waters of the water hole as a backdrop. Their collective noun is “a confusion of guinea fowls” – which in this case was very appropriate!
